This dish is loved by Korean people especially in the beginning of spring as we think it stimulates our appetite after loosing some appetite during long Winter without much fresh vegetables. It is a good side dish for dinner. It also makes Bibimbap special. It is more than enough for me having my meal with it with some cooked rice.
Ingredients
turnip
spring onion
garlic, red chili powder for seasoning
Instruction
Cut turnip in thin stripes and put them in a bowl and season with salt. Leave it about for 5 minutes to loose some water. Then add in spring onions, garlic. Mix them well.
Tips
- You can add some vinegar and sugar if you want.
- Keep in the fridge and it will keep at least one week.
- To garnish it I use spring onions cut in thin stripes.
