Squid Salad


Cooked squid rings are mixed with vegetables and sauce made of garlic, vinegar, water, salt and sugar to refresh your appetite.

Ingredients
squid rings
any vegetable such as lettuce, cucumber, capsicums

salad dressing
1/2 cup of water
1 tsp of salt
5 tsp of sugar
2 tsp of vinegar

Instruction
Make the dressing and set aside. Cook the suid rings in a boiling water for one minute or until cooked. Cut the vegetables in bite-size and mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl with the dressing.

Tips
- I sometimes use lemon instead of vinegar.
- I sometimes add crushed apple to make the dressing look a bit thick.
- If you use frozen squid rings you'd better unfreeze them before cooking. If you havn't got enough time boil the frozen suid rings a little bit longer than fresh squid rings.
