Rice Cake Balls(경단)

Cooked rice balls are coated with sponge cake crumbs. The brown-ish balls in the middle are coated with a mix of sponge cake crumbs, cocoa powder and a pinch of  cinnamon powder. If you are willing to take 30 half an hour these beautiful-and-taste-is-more-beautiful balls are you and your family's.

serves 4
Ingredients
2 cup of sticky rice flour(at Korean shop '찹쌀가루')
small amount of water only enough to make a dough (about 3 tsps per one cup of flour)
any coating you like here are coatings my kids like
- grounded roasted soy beans
- grounded roasted peanuts
- grounded pinenuts
- sponge cake crumbs

Instruction
Make the sticky rice flour dough and make balls. The balls are added into the the pot of boiling water. When the balls are floated on the surface of the boiling water it means they are cooked. Wash them in the cold water and drain. Coat with any coating you like.

Tips
- Make balls as big as you want. My son even tried big-egg sized balls and it worked dramatically.
- Most sticky rice flour is sold seasoned with salt. If not season with salt to your taste.
