Hot Noodels(얼큰수제비)


I make this dish on a boiling hot or freezing cold day. When it is boiling hot we lose our appetitte so we need something refreshing.  It works well also when it is freezing cold as the hot flavour gives us some heat.You can served with mild dish such as braised black beans just in case people finds it too hot! I often use the homemade noodles for this noodle soup. Just make the dough with frour, salt and water and sit for more than 10 minutes. When the dough is elastic and soft tear it in bite size by hand. My kids love it so much that they say this noodle tastes much better than the noodles from the supermarket. They ask me to make this noodle regularly, maybe once a week? Isn't it too often? So I just get them to make the dough and tear it into bite size. They love it, too!

Ingredients
potato (sliced)
onions
any noodles you use for soup
red chili paste
anchovy stock icecubes
salt for seasoning

Instruction
In a deep pot pour in enough water to serve the people and bring to boil. Once it boils add red chili paste, salt and anchovy stock icecubes to your taste and mix well. Add in the sliced potato and add in the noodles when the potato cooked.
